this is our moment for change

We don't exist to solve a problem. We exist to change the system that causes the problem. We do this by leveraging technology to accelerate change in the nonprofit and social impact sectors. Our deep understanding of the Common Data Model for nonprofits, program design, impact measurement, commitment to elevating the voice of stakeholders, and intelligent impact technology will help you prepare for the future we know is possible.

common data model for nonprofits contributor

Disconnected technology has been blocking tens of millions of nonprofit professionals from achieving their potential for decades.

That's why threshold.world is partnering with Microsoft as the global technology leader convenes nonprofits, industry experts and tech partners to evolve a solution that delivers data consistency and accessibility to accelerate impact. This solution is called the Common Data Model for Nonprofits (CDM)

We contribute our unique blend of nonprofit program, fundraising, grant management and constituent engagement experience to the CDM for three reasons.

Isometrics_Staci_V4_nonetwork-01.png

First, we believe unlocking the potential energy stored in data is the best approach to accelerating impact. Second, the CDM is open source and has ignited a movement focused on achieving systems change through collaboration. Third, we trust Microsoft.

Nonprofits that adopt the CDM are able to learn from and share the stories their data has the potential to tell in ways not possible on other disconnected platforms. Technology partners that align their solutions to the CDM are part of the movement toward enabling systems change across the sector. Those that do not are on their own islands.

threshold.world is committed to aligning our solutions to the CDM. Our Customer Insights for Impact beneficiary data platform and COVID-19 Voice Screener Power App are built on the CDM. We're also piloting our project management and storytelling platform for nonprofit program teams, b.world, which is based on the CDM.

The Common Data Model for Nonprofits will define nonprofit data insights for a generation.
We are proud to partner with Microsoft in this movement.

"The threshold.world team brings a wealth of domain expertise towards advancing the needs of nonprofits in the Microsoft ecosystem, and beyond.  If a primary blocker to technology adoption is the absence of human-centricity, then threshold.world has the research and design experience to create applications that impactfully cross this chasm.  Nonprofits of every size will benefit from threshold.world’s elegant, interoperable, scalable solutions."
