Introduction

threshold.world (t.wo) is a technology company that supports social impact organizations around the world. The t.wo Privacy Statement is an extension of our Core Values at threshold.world; in everything we do, we aim to Put People First and Uphold Trust and Transparency.

We refer to “Users” as persons that visit the threshold.world or waitlist.world websites (herby “Site”), contact t.wo Support/other representatives, sign up for t.wo events, newsletters, and other communications.

This Policy applies to Users’ personal information (PI) - i.e., information that alone or when combined with other information can identify an individual User.

threshold.world is US-headquartered company. We own and offer b.world - a technology platform for social-impact and non-profit organizations. b.world has a separate End User Privacy Policy that can be viewed here.

We collect personal information about Users in four ways: through directly from users (e.g., through registration to webinars, newsletters, etc.); through correspondence with Users; through automatically generated data; and from third parties. When you register up for a t.wo event, newsletter, product waitlist, etc. we collect contact information such as your name and email address to provide you information and services, and to manage your account. For example:

• When you register for a t.wo webinar, we collect your email address in order to provide you event updates and links to access the event.

• When you submit an inquiry through a Site “contact us” form, we collect your name and email address so that we can respond to your request.

In some cases, you may provide additional information – such as your organization and job title, to better understand our Users’ needs and to provide you with more relevant information and services.

 

Users can opt-in to consent to receive marketing from threshold.world. Users can manage their preferences (i.e., the type of correspondence you consent to) or unsubscribe at any time.

2. Information Collected Through Correspondence with Users

When Users contact threshold.world representatives (support, sales staff, etc.), we collect contact information to verify your identity, respond to your requests, provide quality support, & track the resolution of requests. Data collected may include:

threshold.world values the humanity behind each piece of personal information we collect. We do not sell or otherwise monetize Users’ personal information or share PI with third parties for advertising purposes without Users’ consent.

In some cases, t.wo contracts third parties to perform essential business functions on our behalf. In such cases, we share limited personal information (such as names and email addresses) in order to:

t.wo does not knowingly process information from Users under 13.
